Gatridge AIPrivacy notice

This notice explains what happens to your information when you visit this website or join the Gatridge AI waitlist. It covers the website only. The Gatridge AI app is still in development, and it will have its own privacy notice before launch.
Who is responsible
Lucky Jeagun Daniel, in Glasgow, Scotland, is responsible for your information (the "data controller"). You can get in touch at hello@gatridgeai.com.
The waitlist is for adults (18 and over).
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we store exactly four things:
- your email address;
- your answer to "Which describes you best?", if you chose one;
- that you ticked the box agreeing to be emailed;
- the date and time you signed up.
Nothing else. We do not store your IP address, we set no cookies, and we use no analytics or trackers of any kind.
To stop the form being flooded by robots, when you press "Join the waitlist" our server keeps a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address in its memory for up to 10 minutes, to count repeated tries. It is never written to disk, never saved with your sign-up, and can't be turned back into your address.
Why we collect it
To email you about testing and the launch of Gatridge AI. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box. We won't use your email address for anything else.
The short-lived scrambled IP address is used only to protect the form from abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the waitlist free of spam.
Who processes it
The website and the waitlist are hosted by Cloudflare, which stores the list for us as our data processor. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles your IP address briefly to deliver the website and protect it from abuse; we don't store it. Nobody else receives your information. We will never sell or share it. If we later use an email service to send waitlist emails, we will name it here before using it.
Where it's kept
The waitlist database is kept in Western Europe. Cloudflare runs a worldwide network, so a request may pass through a Cloudflare data centre outside the UK. Cloudflare's data processing terms include the safeguards UK law requires for transfers outside the UK.
How long we keep it
Until the launch of Gatridge AI plus 12 months, or until you ask to be removed, whichever comes first. Then we delete it.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw your consent at any time. Email hello@gatridgeai.com and we'll act on it promptly, and within one month at most.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Cookies, analytics and trackers
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or trackers. Everything it loads comes from gatridgeai.com. You can see what this site sends and check it for yourself.
